Hier kunt u uw droom verwezenlijken!

Free living, in the city? Peace, space, freedom, live, work, stay, everything under one roof and yet only 15 minutes from Leidseplein? It's possible on Amsterdam's most beautiful quay, the Borneokade!
Unique! On one of the most beautiful quays of the Eastern Docklands, we may offer this generous water plot (berth) with an area of no less than 352m2!
Here you can realise your dream! Think of a "houseboat" with a huge amount of space, where a combination of living, working or possibly separate living can go well together. Water all around and stunning views over Amsterdam's eastern harbour area.
The water plot is zoned as a berth for a houseboat with the maximum dimensions of: 40 metres (length) x 6 metres (width) and 3 metres (height). Over 40% of 40 metres, the vessel may even be 5 metres high. The total floor area is 336 m2 according to the zoning.
Location
The berth is located in the popular Eastern Docklands in a quiet spot on the south side of Borneo Island in the corner of the IJ and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. In the late 19th century, a port area was built here to accommodate the increasing trade with the Dutch East Indies. The construction of the railway line and Central Station in front of the city's old harbour front meant that new sites for harbours were needed. One such port is Entrepothaven, on which Borneokade is located, with wide views over the water and former warehouses. It is known for its modern urban construction, striking architecture, spaciousness and, of course, contact with the water. In short, a unique piece of Amsterdam.
The Borneokade is easy to reach by car from the A10 motorway (S114 - Piet Hein tunnel) or by bicycle. Within 10 minutes, you can reach Central Station or elsewhere in the city by tram or bus. Within walking distance are shopping centre Brazil, various schools, a caterer, various catering establishments, home furnishing shops and gyms.
Current situation
The steel houseboat "Distel I" from 1912 has been to the orangery yard as recently as 2021 for the mandatory more annual inspection and in 2014 rebuilt by the current owners with permission and license. The result is unique ship, in good condition with a size of 24.80 x 4.42 metres. An exceptional houseboat, however relatively small for the possibilities of the plot. But still in good condition. The current houseboat stays behind and is included in the sale.
Possibilities for a new barge
The new houseboat to be moored may have a maximum dimension of 40 metres (length) x 6 metres (width) and 3 metres (height). Over 40% of 40 metres, the vessel may even be 5 metres high. The total floor area is even allowed to be 336m2 according to the zoning. You can create your own paradise here, like several neighbouring boats.
It is allowed to moor a dinghy of 10 metres in length.
Attention!
No houseboats (concrete tank with superstructure) may be moored, only a ship. Ask us for some examples.
Parking space/permit
Plenty of parking space on the public road by means of residents' permits. Currently there are no waiting times.
Berth permit
No ground lease! The precario tax (mooring fees for the current size) is € 1,568 per year.
We would like to invite you to come and admire this special place on the water!
